Learners start in a circle sat on chairs, with one student in the middle without a chair. Label the students as one of three fruits (e.g. apple, banana, orange). The learner in the middle calls the name of a fruit and
everyone in the circle with that name must find another chair, whilst the person in the middle must also find a chair. The person in the middle may also call out two fruits or ‘fruit salad’ which means everyone must find another seat.Variations.I have played this game as an addition rule to other games such as Zip Zap Bong or other similar games, just to mix things up, it’s a good quirky rule to mix things up a bit. During the game the learners can shout ‘Fruit Salad’ at any time, this gives some games a bit more pace and excitement.
